hello list; I think I fixed it.  The default is to send a read  
receipt.  I reset that to no and deleted some new messages using my  
phone.  just checked my mail on my laptop and didn't get any more  
blank emails.  hope that is the end of it and i hope all of you will  
accept my apology.  thanks and take care, max
