According to what I read, users will no longer be able to download MP3 format audio books from Overdrive once using Catalina. This means that the only way to listen to an audio book from Overdrive will be to listen directly on the device during the time limit of the loan from the library. I usually download the MP3 format and convert to M4B to listen in my book player, any time that I decide. Sounds like this will no longer be possible on Catalina. Does anyone know of an alternative method to download MP3 versions of audio books once Catalina is the OSx on a Mac? One more reason why I don’t plan to upgrade to Catalina any time soon.
