Good afternoon everyone, I'm writing to ask about transmit for the Mac, I am attempting to use this application to send files to a X server of course the Lenox server uses secure FTP. The particular flavor of planet X is Ubuntu long-term support 19.0.4, the big issue here is I am having somewhat of a problem, and getting transmit to only send but I wish to send. The application seems to want to sink my entire computer with the server. This is not a good thing to do. Since my storage is roughly 85 gig. And I have a 2020 MacBook Pro. Which means I have a lot more data than my server can hold. And of course since some of that data is protected by international copyright etc. meaning reading materials that can only be viewed read etc. by me. Is this purchase of transmit a wise idea or is it better to just use what passes for the shell on the Mac. Any thoughts?

Please note that the above text has been dictated to the computer by means of dictation software. Some of it may not have turned out the way it was intended. If there's something that you really didn't understand, I will make every effort to clear up any misunderstandings that may arise based on the text above? I will work very hard to clear up any misunderstandings as I stated. Thank you very much for reading this.

Note number two, the reason why this is being written in Windows is because the dictation software is a Windows piece of software. The company that makes this software has withdrawn their Mac product so that's I'm forced to use Windows in order to write this. This Windows is of course running in a boot camp configuration. Again thank you very much for reading this.

Hello Everyone,

I updated the software on my Apple TV 4th Gen, earlier this week.

Since doing so, I cannot reliably close apps via the Apple TV remote.

1.
After updating to the latest version of Apple TV OS, with VoiceOver enabled,
Go to Settings > Accessibility.

2.
Set navigation mode to Follow Focus instead of Direct Touch. (For some
reason I have never been able to get the hang of Direct Touch, so, I do not
use it.)

3.
Now, press the Home button to go back to the home screen.

4.
Open a couple of apps and return to the Home screen.

5.
Double-press the Home button to bring up the App Switcher.

6.
Swipe to the left or right to land on an active app.

7.
Turn the Rotor to Actions.

8.
Swipe up to hear VoiceOver say, "Close App."

Okay, it at number 8 where I run into problems. I can set the Rotor to
Actions but, try as I may, single-finger (or, for that matter double-finger)
swiping up or down causes nothing to happen.

Clearly I am doing something wrong but cannot discover my error.

For the record, when the navigation method is set to Direct Touch, closing
an app is not a problem.

All replies greatly appreciated.

Mark
