Not sure what you mean by having your screen locked, on a MacBook Pro, but see the following for screen shot commands.
1. Save picture of screen as a file: Shift + CMD + NumberRow 3. 2. Copy picture of screen to the clipboard: CTRL + Shift + CMD + NumberRow 3. 3. Save picture of selected area as a file: Shift + CMD + NumberRow 4. 4. Copy picture of selected area to the clipboard: CTRL + Shift + CMD + NumberRow 4.
