I think they all use USB-C ports now, even if the port has Thunderbolt 3
support.

Dear List,
Today I received my first FireWire SSD,
Item: 480GB OWC Envoy Pro FX Thunderbolt 3 + USB-C Portable NVMe SSD. The
fastest, most compatible portable drive ever made that works with yesterday's,
today's and tomorrow's Thunderbolt and USB computers and devices.; 3 Year OWC
Limited Warranty. (OWCTB3ENVPFX.5)
I am using a late 2015 iMac.
I never held a ThunderBolt 3 cable before. I was trying to purchase a drive to
plug into the thunderbolt connection, but this seems to be a USB C cable with a
standard USB adapter.
There are two ports on my Mac but this cable will not fit.
I am very confused.
Are they calling USB C Thunderbolt?
Thanks in advance,
Rob
