Hello,

I have found issues where caps lock misbehaves, especially when caps lock is
associated with the Vo function.
In password fields the VO can act like a toggle instead of a modifier. When
this happens, I will get the characters acting like VO functions for example
semicolon will say caps lock lock on. When this happens, press caps lock once
and you should be able to type in your password.
If you get a password error at this point, I find that double tapping the caps
lock key will get you to a point where you can enter the password.

A bit confusing, but basically if the computer keeps claiming incorrect
password try double tapping the caps lock key.
Another piece of advice: if you switch the user name field from a list to a
text entry field in the User and Groups system settings app, then it is a
little easier to verify if caps lock is playing havoc with your input.

                Best wishes,

Jonathan Cohn
