Hi, It sounds like this is primarily affecting your Mail notification sounds. This is a change, albeit odd change in my opinion, but if you go into Settings, Notifications, Mail, then to Customize Mail notifications which is near the bottom of the items, you can customize notifications for each of your Mail accounts. Enabling alerts here should bring back the alert sounds for you.
