Hi Donna,

Theatre Mode and Silent Mode will not affect VoiceOver.  I have mine in Silent 
Mode 100% of the time.  I get annoyed with all the dings, dangs, bings, bongs, 
tinks and whatever other onomatopoeia noises I can come up with :).
FYI, Silent mode silences alert sounds, Theatre Mode turns on Silent Mode and 
dims the screen.   Again, neither affect VO.  Theatre Mode is normally disabled 
by waking the screen, so something you did should have waked it.  I suggest 
that you hold in the side button for 10 seconds then release.  This should 
restart your Apple Watch and VoiceOver should start speaking again once the 
restart has completed.
