I’m sorry if I have been unable to explain what I meant.  The problem is due to 
having 2 separate apple IDs: one for ICloud and one for purchases apps and so 
forth.  When I set up family sharing, it automatically assumed that my ICloud 
ID was also to be shared for purchases.  But that of course isn’t the case as 
my purchases are done with a different Apple ID.  Nothing in the family setup 
makes it easy to separate the two.  I finally accomplished it but i can’t 
exactly remember how as it was very much by hours of stabbing in the dark.  
It’s not right that it should be so difficult.

Anyway, thanks for your time to attempt to help & I’m sorry I wasn’t able to 
clearly explain my dilemma.
