So this has almost gotten commical. Here is what I did this morning.

First, I told the homepod to play an album, which failed, as expected. So I
decided to see if I could trick her into doing what I want, so I told her to
play that artist. I then just kept saying Next Track until she finally played
a track from the album i had originally wanted. Then I said Play this album.
Lo and behold, my album started playing.

The next challenge was to have the music played in the room where I was
actually sitting. Ever since the update, Siri doesn’t play to my Sonos
speakers. I think the problem is that when I say Kitchen, Dining room, and
family room, she thinks I’m talking about one speaker called
kitchendiningroomandfamilyroom. So, I had to go to my iPad, open the control
center, open media controls, and select the speakers I wanted manually. I think
you may be right, Joe, it’s easier to just use Sonos, even though you don’t
have voice control—or we don’t, b/c we don’t use Alexa.

I thought Alexa was more reliable. Glad to hear it isn’t just Siri.
Cheers,
Donna
