You should be able to start a practice meeting using your PMI. I recommend doing this because the Mac will ask that you grant permissions for using the microphone and camera. I also recommend you try doing a screen share and/or computer audio share, because the Mac will ask you to grant permissions to allow screen recording in order to do this.
You should also go through Zoom preferences, especially audio, and make sure things are set to your liking. I also recommend that before starting a meeting, you go into Audio preferences, and make sure your preferred input and output devices are selected. It is a good idea to do this every-time you start a meeting until you are confident that Zoom has learned your preferences.
