Thanks for this response, Jason. I’m running MacOS v12.4, using a Logitech MX 
Keys external keyboard connected via Bluetooth to a MBP, though I also 
encountered this problem with another keyboard made by Apple. It occurs to me 
that I almost exclusively have this problem using Scrivener, so I wonder if 
it’s a Scrivener bug...
