Nothing strange about this. It is definitely a feature and it has been doing
this for a long time.
I rather like it. I can tell my HomePod to play a single song, and it will
continuously play other music based upon that song for hours.

Hi Anders,

This has been happening for long time. It took me by surprise at first, but
now I actually like it. I can pick an album by an artist and I just let it
play after the album’s done. Eventually, it plays something I don’t like, and
then I either tell it to stop, or tell it to play something else. :)
Take care,
Donna
