I'm more familiar with doing it on an ios device than on a computer but I've done both.were you doing this on a computer or an ios device? had you installed Zoom? in Zoom settings you want to have things set up the way you prefer them. in other words, have video and audio on or off. you can change this after you get in but it's easier to have it all set up.
ideally you shouldn't have to log in again although I've run into links where I had to put my name and email address in before it would open. Also, make sure you're tapping or clicking the correct link. there's also a link to the Zoom platform in those emails and if you tap that one you'll end up looking at plans and pricing instead of your meeting. it says "join meeting" and right below that is the link you want to follow. If you tell me what kind of experience you had I can tell you how to make it go more smoothly.
