I think if it were me, and I didn’t already have a website to create a subdomain off of, I’d go with one of three possible solutions:
Sign up for a $4 droplet at DigitalOcean. It takes a bit of technical knowledge to setup but isn’t all that difficult. Create an application on platform.sh, which offers a 30 day trial. This requires some knowledge of using git though. If I was really desperate, then I’d temporarily open up my firewall and serve it on my own computer, but only if the person I was showing this application to was trusted.
