Ok, this is mostly good feedback. Thanks. I want to stick with Mac, just 
because it is far more natural now.

I do use duck duck go for searching, but constantly get safari not responding. 
Is Google Chrome preferred?

I also get music not responding.

I had heard upgrading to a m2 MBA will make a big difference.
