No, but I've used one of their older displays briefly in a technology demonstration. The finger detection mechanism worked reliably for automatically panning the display. However, it needed to be adjusted to its most sensitive setting, presumably because I touched the cells quite lightly while reading.

Note also that Jonathan Mosen released a podcast last year in which he interviewed HelpTech representatives about the Activator. It might be worth searching for the recording or the transcript.
