The logoff suggestion I had overlooked. The function keys took more
hunting for I was not aware that there were more settings before
reaching the scroll area. Thanks for the help. Now if I can only get
headphones back.

Couple more things I need to deal with in Ventura.
One, when I boot or restart, System Setting always loads. Login Items shows
an empty table for items that opens at login. Where else should I be looking?
Two, something happened to the function keys. VO help does not report them
now. I cannot remember where the related settings are.
