Ok, I think this will get the dumbest question of the year award but here goes. I start my macBook Pro, and finder comes up. No matter what I do next, I can't open the apps folder. I have tried choosing it with item chooser, typing apps in, even bring up the doc with VO D. Sometimes it just says "you are in a rich text format.", or some such thing. I'm sure this is simple, but apparently, so am I. TIA for any help to get back on the Mac.
