Hi Lorie, When I open the Kindle app, focus is on the Search field. I need to press Control + Option + Space before entering the search text. After entering the text, and pressing Enter, press VO + Right Cursor once and you should be on the Search Grid View Collection. Interact with the grid and you should be able to navigate the results.
Alternatively, when you first open the app, repeatedly pressing Tab should move focus over buttons which will allow you to choose how your library is displayed. When you tab passed the buttons, focus should move to the list of books. Now you should be able to cursor up and down without needing to use the VoiceOver keys. If a book is not yet downloaded, press enter to download it. If the book is downloaded, then pressing Enter will open the book. Hope that gets you started.
