Hi.

I have the same problem. I see the point, that you could lose data,
but on the other hand, you could also lose data, if you think you have
copied something, but you have not and when you can delete something
that you have not moved. I have tried different things, but I can not
find a usefull solution, but there is a program called pathfinder.
That program can move data, I tried it, but I had some problems with
it, but maybe we can use that program. Maybe one of you, who is much
better on the mac than I am could try it out.

I do not remember the web adress right now, but it will apear if you
write pathfinder in a google search.
