Hi Phil, Since they haven’t started shipping, I don’t think anyone has direct experience with them. They are, however, the next generation of the Envision glasses, They will be less expensive than their predecessors.
Another blindness specific smart glasses option soon to be released is these: https://agiga.ai/ The above glasses are specifically designed for blind users, but in some cases may have less functionality. For example, with the Ally glasses, you can only call people using What’s Ap—and I think one other service, and you cannot shoot video. There’s also a non-blindness specific option that I’m very interested in. HTC has released the Vive Eagle for pre-order in Taiwan. They sound very promising from what I’ve read. Similar in functionality to the Meta glasses, but with more of a focus on protecting user privacy.
