On your Mac, go to the Dropbox folder that contains the file for which you wish to create the link. Navigate to the file, and open the Shortcut menu. >From the Shortcut menu, select the item labeled "Copy Dropbox link”. The link will be copied to your clipboard. Now you can paste the link wherever you wish. Note: In order for the link to automatically download the linked file when activated, you will need to change the last character of the link from a zero, to a one.
