Command 2 or Command 3 on the folder will switch to either list view or Column 
view. That will also put things in Alphabetical order. I suggest you also go 
through the Finder preferences with Command Comma when you open the finder.
Spell Check in Email,  Text Edit, and most edit fields in apps is Command 
Semicolon and then VO Shift M to select the the change you want. Word however 
relies on it’s own infrastructure, and so you will use F7 to launch Spell 
Check, and so forth. In situations where you would use the control key in 
Windows, use Command instead.
