Hi, I'm able to use mlb.com with no problems.  Their players are flash and they 
are fine with the mac.  On the other hand, there is a very definite rift 
between apple and adobe, and many flash applications don't work well or even at 
all.

I suggest you go into the apple store and try some of the sites you want to use 
on the mac for yourself.
