ooh interesting is the earphone jack on the 13 inch macbook prop switchable somehow to digital output? or is that specific to the larger macs also is it one of those cobmo optical jacks like on some md players ? my old minidisc recorder had optical in and line in on the same jack the digital input was optical with a special cable I'd love to e able t pull 5.1 from my mac straight into my home theater system probably wishing here since i have seen nothign that hits of configuration for the singl ejack to dmore than line in vs out still irritate sme can't they make 2 jacks I will havet o get an extra usb soundcard soon
