Hello there,
Nike+ works with any treadmill, in fact you don't even need a
treadmill as you can use it outside too. Nike+ software is on your
iPhone or iPod Nano, you purchase some Nike+ ready trainers and a
Nike+ sensor into the left trainer under the inner sole. As an
alternative (and much cheaper one) you could download iTreadmill for
your iPhone. Personally I like the Nike+ system better as I do not
need to keep the phone in my pocket or even touch it once I have
started my workout. Depending on what workout you choose, the coach
gives you regular feedback on your progress.
Out of interest, which treadmill did you get? I have got the York
T302 which enables me to use the built in speakers for the iPhone
and the buttons are easy to feel and remember. Each press of the
speed + or - buttons increases or decreases by 0.2 km, so its easy
to work out how many presses I will need to hit a good walking pace
of 6 km per an hour. Prior to the Nike+ I used the built in timer
on the iPhone so I knew how long I had been walking for, well that
was if I was not using the phone to play music or podcasts.

Hi Chris.
As stated I have a treadmill which is not accessible, I an't see
the menus so wish to know do you think all you have bought could
work on mine? I bought this Treadmill from Argus so it's a main
stream one.

Well my Nike+ sensor arrived today £14.99) and I got my Nike+
sneakers too (Air Max Tailwind 2010) and I was up and running in

Very easy to use, I like the calorie target mode. You get regular
prompted updates to tell you how you are doing and if you are
getting close to your target. This saves you having to look/press
the screen to find out what is going on. You then get a summary
of everything at the end of your workout.
So far I am very happy with my purchases.

I'm so excited! I can actually answer a question for once
instead of asking them! I use Niki plus and I like it a lot.
The sensor was $19.99 or something like that. I bought the shoes
at an outlet mall and they were around $44.00. You just have to
make sure it is a "niki plus" shoe. There are many different
types of shoes that go from reasonable to very expensive. When I
work out I use a treadmill. I start the niki plus and than start
the treadmill. I like it because it gives calories burned,
distance etc. It also has a history. You have to calibrate it
just like if you had a pedometer. Let me know if you have
further questions.
