Hi, I got myself a nifty key remap tool for the mac, I think It's just called 
key remapper.  It restored the number pad functionality to my mac portable 
keyboard, and now I can do mouse click with the regular numpad.

That thing made my vm experience nicer by about 1000 fold.  I can't recommend  
it highly enough.
