Hi everyone,

Today I noticed my top level Gmail mailbox was collapsed. When I expanded it
I found over 6,000 messages in my "All Mail" folder. Of course, the very same
messages had already been in my Inbox or my Macvisionaries mail box and had
already been read and deleted.

Is there a way to delete all of them in one fell swoop. When I switched to
thread mode, there are still over 1,000. I checked the menus and elsewhere but
found nothing to empty a specific mailbox?

Also, is it possible to just prevent messages going to 2 mailboxes at the
same time or delete this "All Mail" mailbox or is that not advisable?

As always, thanks for your information and advice.

Linda
