Hi Colin: Same Carolyn all around. Final Vinyl is free from Griffin Technologies. I don't know well enough how to use these kinds of programs and get easily intimodated by them. Just as an example, I took a look at Audacity, and couldn't even begin to figure out where to start. :) I have something called a Griffin iMic, and the mac recognizes it ok. But, the software and where to start is a mystery. I did find the little guide, but guess I need a little more hand-holding to get me started.:).
Why doesn't someone come up with "turntable to mac for dummies?" Anyhow, I'll have a peak at vinyl studio. Thank you. Final Vinyl was written specifically for the iMic and the mac; which is why I wanted to use it. However, The documentation also says Audacity will also work. And I know there are accessible versions of that. ----- Original Message ----- From: Courtney Curran To: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com Sent: Sunday, November 28, 2010 4:44 PM Subject: Re: Final vinyl Hi,at's final vinyl, it sounds interesting, I hope it's accessible.
