Hi Colin:
Same Carolyn all around. Final Vinyl is free from Griffin Technologies. I
don't know well enough how to use these kinds of programs and get easily
intimodated by them. Just as an example, I took a look at Audacity, and
couldn't even begin to figure out where to start. :)
I have something called a Griffin iMic, and the mac recognizes it ok. But, the
software and where to start is a mystery. I did find the little guide, but
guess I need a little more hand-holding to get me started.:).

Why doesn't someone come up with "turntable to mac for dummies?"
Anyhow, I'll have a peak at vinyl studio.
Thank you.

Carolyn

    Hi Courtney:
It's an audio recording program for a product called the Griffin iMic which
is a device to record from turntable/tapedeck/cd player directly to the mac
using a usb port. Final Vinyl was written specifically for the iMic and the
mac; which is why I wanted to use it. However, The documentation also says
Audacity will also work. And I know there are accessible versions of that.
