I don't think this will effect VO accessibility much. They can simply turn it from triple press of home, to triple press of sleep/power button. As far as the iPhone is concerned, I'm more worried about these 4 and 5 finger gestures they're reportedly thinking about. It wouldn't be any trouble on a iPad with all that screen real estate but, on an iPhone? I couldn't imagine many adults being able to do a 5 finger pinch gesture with comfort. The screen is just too small.
