Libra Office is described as a free, open source, multi-platform,

Has anyone tried it? If so, how well is VoiceOver accessibility?

It is not very accessible with VO. Read-All command doesn't work, tables are unreachable, character, page, and paragraph setting dialogs require some very difficult work-around to be used, spreadsheet is usable but not in a productive environment and you do have a lot of time to waste on it to come out with something readable and usable. After all, Libre office is nothing but a diferent version of Open Office, isn't it?

In plain english: Office automation still remains a big problem under MacOSX and Voice Over.

My bests.
