Hi May, There are a lot of things not to like about it. It's a native windows app running in wine for one thing. No voiceover support. Crappy speech synthesizers IMHO though opinions will vary. No braille support. Clunky interface with counter-intuitive hotkeys and processes. and the price tag which dropped here in canada by nearly 1 third in February and is still fart too high.
On the plus side, it's fast, accurate, portable, nice-looking when set up on a desk. ABISee has given me very little cause to complain about support. And it's the only thing I've found on that just works on the mac. No complicated string of off the shelf software one for each part of the process. No scanner compatibility or driver accessibility issues. No processing in the cloud. Just press the button and let it fly.
