Hi there,

I am having problems entering some words into the VO dictionary under
Speech -> Pronunciation. If I add other words, I have no problem.
However, when I try a word with a punctuation symbol, it is not used.
While I try a word like C# to be pronounced as C Sharp, reviewing this
in the table of pronunciations, I hear it being pronounced correctly
in the substitution box. When I get to use it in any other app, it
still says C Number. I even noticed that even with words like St., if
I remove the full stop, it will be pronounced well.

So in short, how do you make Voiceover to recognise a word with a
punctuation sign? How best can I proceed with making it pronounce
words correctly?

Tia,

Sunshine
