While you're in the message text, VO till you get to the message headers and interact with it. The first line is usually the sender. Press VO-shift-m to bring up the contextual menu. Choose "copy address" from this menu. Open a new message with command-n or reply using command-r. Paste using command-v. The address should appear in the "to" field.
