Very interesting. I'm back to using Alex as my default voice and I've not had any problems with webkit. I'll try Safari and report back. Of course this is no good for you if you're already using alex but I was using DAniel previously. I quite like alex actually, and the Voice seems to have improved in Lion; or is it just me.
