Hi, all, Happy New Year to everybody.
I have a strange problem that's popped up in the last couple of weeks. I used to see "Airport" in the status menu. I use wifi with my router and a WPA2 personal security setting. I can get on just fine, but now I see nothing about "airport:; just "Wifi"." Also, every time I log out, the wifi shuts off and won't reconnect on its own when I log back into my user account. It always says "no signal" unless I change it. Is this a Lion setting that's changed, or a hardware setting? I must admit I don't know much about "airport." Is it a piece of hardware or software?
