Hi, In my case I actually have Zoom set at full magnification, which I guess is 20x. I do back it down to 18x every now and then. I do not like using Mail in preview mode, as it does elicit some of the behavior you mention. Please note in my last message, in system prefs VO options, Anything not mentioned is Not checked.
