Hey Michael, Thanks a ton for your help. I was able to record my videos by following the procedure you suggested. And I was even able to upload it straight from QuickTime itself, by using the 'share' option.
So, thanks again, and I'll surely watch your 'How to be Blind' videos on YouTube.
