when you hear the words "disclosure triangle" this is an icon representing that a folder has sub folders.
as an example, if you're in mail and you have a directory like "G-MAIL", this contains sub directories such as sent and deleted items, etc. interacting with this component is like any other. interact then VO + space to open the sub directories.
