Hi I just recently got this programme and understand it's accessible. Sometimes I can get the space bar to work as the play button, and sometimes not. The command p does work consistently. The manual says 3 is supposed to work as the record button but it doesn't. And sometimes the 1 and 2 buttons don't work as rewind and fast forward. Clearly there's something I'm not doing right as people report great success with it. Do you have to interact with any of the tables in order to make editing easier. I have turned cursor tracking off, but the editing functionality is by no means consistent. How do you purchase/download the Lame mp3 encoder so you can save as mp3 files? The manual doesn't tell you where to get it. I already have an app called mp3 converter which uses the lame encoder, so do I need to get anything else? I don't understand how to link Sound Studio with the lame encoder. Has anybody else successfully done this? I found Robert's podcast on basic editing with Sound Studio really helpful, but if anybody had the time to write a more detailed tutorial, or do a podcast on how to set it up to work best with VO I would be very grateful. Like do you zoom to selection, or to window, or doesn't it matter? What table do you have to be in for the editing to work best?
