hi. to find your drop box folders, at least this is how i do it. open anything you like in finder interact with your side bar using vo j arrow down to drop box then press vo j again to get in to your drop box folders. The only thing i am not sure how to do is check on the progress of a file that's being uploaded or downloaded. use growl to get notifications of things being added to your drop box.
