My understanding is that Prismo is not worth bothering with unless you have an iPhone 4s. On anything lower the camera isn't good enough. That's why I haven't bought it. I hear it's quite good on the 4s though

Not exactly. Once Prizmo is set up correctly, you select Text, take the picture of the page, tap Use and wait for the OCR to be completed.

It takes some practice to get the knack.
