When yu say that it groups all related messages, I'm not getting the
difrference in that and what it already's doing by putting them in their own
thread.

Subject: Resolution to VoiceOver Intermittently Not Reading Correct Number
of Messages in a Email Thread
Hello Everyone,
I now know why VO says, for some items in the Message Table, "1 Message
Conversation Collapsed Disclosure Triangle.
I also know how to turn this off so VO reads as it should, in my opinion;
that is, reads the number of messages in a thread and, consequently, read
the number of each individual message in the Message Contents Table.
The reason why VO says, "1 Message Conversation Collapsed Disclosure
Triangle," is because, for whatever reason, by default, Mail is set to
Include All Related Messages.
I strongly suggest that you disable this feature when using VoiceOver. To
do this:
1.
From within Mail, open the Preferences Dialog Box.
2.
Select the View Tab.
3.
Now, uncheck the box that reads, "Include All Related Messages."
Enjoy,
Mark
