no don't have Itunes match turned on.
sometimes access I device wirelessly.
Is also acting out in Safari and sometimes in mail.
I have just lived with it since getting the computer.
I thought it was normal macbook behavior but was disappointed it doesn't work 
faster with the specs.

I will try the suggestion sometime to visit the Apple store but its 1.5 hrs 
away so not easy to get to.
