I haven't done this but I doubt using the contextual menu from the
desktop will get you what you want. I think you'll end up with a DVD
that has a directory with one giant dmg file in it. I'm sure there are
tutorials around but I suspect using Disk Utility from your utilities
folder will get you further. Use it to load up the DMG file and then use
it to "restore" that image to a volume of your choosing, which in this
case would be the DVD burner.

2. did vo m.
3. selected file
4. down arrowed to urn to disk
5. hit vo space and all was done.
Do I now have a bootable ML disk?
