OK, here's the weird thing. If I go to the dock, then arrow over to Downloads, then use vo M to interact with the list of downloads in the folder, select things I want to delete, and then hit delete, it does not work. However, if I manage to get to the Downloads folder right in Finder, which for some reason I cannot always do, files delete. Why the difference?
