That's an interesting background; I thought there was more to it than that. Problem with using a browser is you can't do the kind of things that you can do in iBooks like precise bookmarking, annotation, and browsers don't keep their place like iBooks would do either. I'm just surprised there isn't an epub book reader for the mac.
