Actually it's worse than it just won't work, Voiceover has been deliberately disabled by order of those nice folk at Amazon. Their reason seems to be that Voiceover is free and so sighted people might use it to get their books read out to them. Sounds like a load of spurious drivel to me. I wish there was some way to stop this sort of discriminatory behaviour.
