Actually, those edit fields are accessible; just very tricky to use. If you have interact when using tab key" on in VO utility, VO will focus on the combo edit field when you tab to it. Sometimes I have to lock it in place by interacting with the field, but most of the time it will edit just fine. Also, since it's a dropdown most of the time, it will try to fill in stuff for you, but you can either keep typing or backspace it out and it will go away.
